Spotlight {Jayme Burkhart}

Hey sisters,  my name is Jayme Burkhart and my husband is Jim.  We have been married for 20 years and have two sons CJ who is a junior at Seven lakes and Alex who is a 6th grader at Beckendorff. I also have two grown stepsons, Jay and John and a brand new grandson Logan!

We have been in Katy for 10 years and just love it here!  We moved from Phoenix AZ where Jim and I both grew up.  We met in a restaurant I used to work at and bonded over scuba diving which is Jim's big passion.  He loves water and would love to put a small oasis in your backyard for you!  Both CJ and Alex are certified divers so now our whole family can enjoy dive trips together!  I have been so blessed to work as a flight attendant for Southwest Airlines for 21 years.  It has been a blast and they are an awesome company to work for.  So those of you who travel be sure and look for me on your flight!  


2011 was an awesome year for our family.  Among other things CJ turned 16 on March 10, was ordained a priest in the Aaronic Priesthood and then baptized his Dad the following Sunday.  What a great day that was!  We are so grateful to all in our ward family and stake who have been so supportive and helpful through the years and continue to be good friends!  Jim always tells me Katy 3rd is the best ward (kinda cracks me up since he really has nothing to compare to, but it is true!).  Our family was sealed together in the Houston temple this weekend!
